Monitor your blood pressure conveniently at home with the MMD UCHECK Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor. This automatic upper-arm monitor measures systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate using the oscillometric method.
Its large liquid crystal display presents the results clearly, while irregular heartbeat detection provides an additional notification when an irregular rhythm is detected during measurement. The two-user function allows two individuals to store and review their readings separately.
Brief Description
The MMD UCHECK is a home-use digital blood pressure machine featuring a 22–32 cm arm cuff, average reading function, automatic power-off and memory storage for two users. Each user can store up to 90 previous measurements.
The package states a blood pressure measurement range of 0–280 mmHg, pulse range of 40–180 beats per minute and pressure accuracy of ±3 mmHg.
Weight
The packaging lists the product weight as approximately 900 g. Confirm whether this refers to the monitor alone or the complete packaged set before publication.
How It Works
The monitor uses the oscillometer measurement method. After the cuff is correctly fitted and the START/STOP button is pressed, the cuff automatically inflates and detects pressure changes caused by blood flow in the artery.
The device then calculates and displays:
Systolic blood pressure
Diastolic blood pressure
Pulse rate
Irregular heartbeat notification
Saved user and memory information
How to Use
Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm and sit comfortably with your back supported. Keep your feet flat on the floor and support your arm at heart level. Rest quietly for at least five minutes before pressing the START/STOP button.
Remain still and do not talk while the monitor is taking a reading. After measurement, review the result on the LCD and save it under the appropriate user profile.
Possible Side Effects or Discomfort
This is a non-invasive monitoring device and does not cause medicinal side effects. Some users may experience temporary cuff tightness, mild discomfort or a short-lived pressure mark during inflation.
Stop the measurement and remove the cuff if you experience pain, numbness or unusual discomfort.
